How to
List Yourself as an Approved Provider
on the
MyAmericanChild
Website
|
|
You enter your information and you
are online instantly . . .
|
It could not be easier for you to have a place in Tina's Kitchen -
our nationwide, round-the-clock, SES Providers Fair. At the bottom of this page
you can bring up our online form where you enter your information. From the moment
the form is submitted, any family that visits our website looking for tutors in
the counties that you serve will see your information. The family is also encouraged
and enabled to easily email you from our website.
Your only decision is whether you wish to list with us at no charge or to receive
the additional benefits reserved to those who support our work as
Sponsors.
That option is explained below.
August 1, 2007
is the deadline to list with
MyAmericanChild, for free or as a Sponor, for the
coming school year.

Additional Services to Sponsors |
Sponsors are acknowledged and appear in red and bold at the top of our interactive chart
of providers in all sponsored counties. Other providers follow in alphabetical order.
|
Sponsors are listed in the order in which they subscribe
in any given county. The first to subscribe in a county will be the first on the
list in that county, etc.
|
Sponsors
may go online to localize their listings - giving different business names, contact
numbers, etc., in different counties.
|
Sponsors
may go online to instantly hide or unhide their listing in any county - valuable
if there are changes of plans or unforeseen developments.
|
Sponsors
are given the opportunity to renew their sponsorhip, and thus keep their position,
before we open the opportunity to all for the following school year.

Pricing for Sponsorship Benefits
|
MyAmericanChild
understands that there
are providers who serve students in just one county or a few, in one state or a
few, in many states but not in all counties, etc. We understand that some counties
are more important to the providers than others. But we also know that the only county important to the family is their
own. Our pricing gives all providers, large and
small, the greatest opportunity to become
the provider
for that family.

Below we give some
examples of the many different ways in which you may list yourself as a
Sponsor:
- County
Example:
A provider serves students in three counties. The provider chooses to be listed
as a Sponsor in one of them. If the provider is the
third to choose sponsor status in that county, the provider will be highlighted
and listed third in the chart for families seeking tutors in that county. In the
other two counties the provider will appear in alphabetical order after any Sponsors.
The cost is $60. The provider can hide or unhide its listing from family view at
any time in the sponsored county, if need be.
- Statewide
Example:
A provider wants to be listed in Florida, which has 67 counties. The provider serves
in 15 counties and wants sponsor status in all of them. At the per county rate ($60),
the provider would pay $900. The cost will instead be the lower state rate of $750.
The provider will be priority listed in each of the 15 counties and will automatically
have sponsor status if it expands to any other Florida counties.
- Blended
Example:
Statewide and countywide sponsorships can be combined. A provider is approved to
offer tutoring in
all
school districts in five states. The provider chooses
statewide sponsorship in one $250 state and
countywide sponsorships
in 10 counties located in the four other states. The cost is $850 ($250 plus
10 x $60). The provider is listed in all
the counties in the five states - as a Sponsor in some, free listing in others.
- Nationwide
Example:
A provider serves many or all counties in many states. The provider opts for the
nationwide sponsorship ($5,000) and is listed as a sponsor in every county it chooses.
The provider can
hide or
unhide
its listing in any county
nationwide at any time during the year.

Sponsor.
